The Ingrown Toenail Centre is a treatment and care service provided by the podiatrists at The Podiatry Practice, Woolloongabba.

The concept for a dedicated service for the management of ingrown toenails was brought about by the increasing number of poorly managed or un-managed cases seen by our podiatrists over recent years. In some cases, patients had presented to us with years of pain and repeated infections, requiring multiple courses of antibiotics, and had not ever been offered a permanent solution.

Modern advances allow ingrown toenails to be safely managed in an office setting under local anaesthestic, avoiding the need for hospital stays as has often been the case in years gone by.

Our podiatrists have a major interest in managing chronic ingrown toenails with contemporary, minimally invasive surgical techniques. Over the years, our podiatrists have performed many hundreds of these procedures and are highly experienced in providing safe and effective care for chronic ingrown toenails in the convenience of an office based setting. We pride ourselves on utilising up to date techniques to ensure your problem is cared for at the highest possible standard.
